You can customise your reading experience in the settings.

The appropriate music track plays after you've selected which month you're playing. Muting the volume pauses the playback.

The played music track can repeat the ongoing month, or you can listen to the full soundtrack during each game.

Makes skill checks more difficult in partner scenes [2P]. Recommended if you like to travel together a lot in co-op travel mode. Read more.

If you own the Dreams and Mysteries expansion, enable its contents here. You can get the expansion from our online store.

If you own the Amazing Spectacles expansion, enable its contents here.

You can disable the motion effects or all text effects if you find them distracting.

You can increase the contrast of the story texts if you find them hard to read.

To make scrolling to a specific scene faster, dividers can be shown every 50 scenes in the scene list.

Verbs with card effects can be highlighted in options. This may slightly reduce immersion, spoiling which verbs have effects associated with them.

When a new part of a story is revealed, the storybook scrolls to show it. The speed in which this happens can be adjusted.

To improve and further balance the game, the storybook can send anonymous play data to Snowdale Design. No personal information is asked nor sent.

Playing with 5 adventurers requires an expansion. If you have it, activate its content in the Settings.

Playing with 6 adventurers requires two expansions. If you have both, activate their content in the Settings.

Scenes [SCN] 0386 - 0594 belong to the Dreams and Mysteries expansion. If you have it, activate its content in the Settings.

Scenes [SCN] 0595 - 0??? belong to the Amazing Spectacles expansion. If you have it, activate its content in the Settings.

Expansion content status

The storybook content of the expansion is still a work in progress. Some scenes are missing, showing internal notes instead, and others lack polish. We’re hard at work completing them and will do frequent updates.

However, you can already play and enjoy the expansion! Just know that the experience is a bit incomplete for the moment. Thank you for your patience while we make the expansion as good as possible.

Possibly missing storylines

Due to a bug, a couple of storylines might have stopped appearing in the game if you played in February or March (or later with an outdated offline version).

You can go here to check and fix the issue. Apologies for the inconvenience.
